Every year, the San Diego Daily Transcript seeks nominations for the top young attorneys in San Diego. There are three different categories: (1) 1-2 years of practice, (2) 3-5 years of practice, and (3) 6-7 years of practice. This is a peer nominated process - attorneys recommending fellow attorneys.

A little bit about Attorney Colleen Warren

I have been working in family law as a paralegal and attorney since 2000. I am licensed to practice law before all courts in the State of California, including the United States District Court, since 2006.

I obtained my bachelor's degree in Business Administration, from the University of San Diego, where I also minored in Political Science, in 2000. I earned my Juris Doctor from McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific in 2005, where I graduated in the top third of my class.

I am a member of the California Bar Association, American Bar Association, San Diego County Bar Association, Lawyer's Club, California Women's Lawyers, and several other local and state-wide legal organizations.

Since entering the legal profession, I have not only dedicated myself to providing first-rate legal services to my clients, I strive to give back to the community. I currently serve on the Legal Advisory Board at Project SARAH, a domestic violence outreach program for low income and indigent San Diegans. I regularly volunteer through the San Diego County Bar Association and several other local organizations.
